Christmas Chronicles: A Festive Celebration at Loyola
Loyola School, Jamshedpur, recently hosted Christmas Chronicles, an inter-class event organized by the English Department during the Joy of Giving Week. This vibrant celebration highlighted the festive spirit through activities tailored to each class, fostering creativity, teamwork, and the joy of giving. Std VI students showcased their word skills with a lively Christmas-themed crossword puzzle, while Std VII explored their artistic flair by creating heartfelt Christmas cards. Std VIII students brought festive stories to life in a comic strip competition, blending humour and imagination and Std IX designed creative book covers for Christmas tales, capturing the season’s visual charm. Senior students of Std XI demonstrated spontaneity and depth in an extempore competition and solved a challenging Christmas crossword that tested their knowledge of traditions, history, and literature. The event reflected the values of unity and giving, making it a joyous and memorable occasion for all. Through Christmas Chronicles, Loyola School celebrated the true essence of Christmas, inspiring students to create, collaborate, and cherish the festive spirit.
