Loyola School, Jamshedpur, continues to lead in innovative education and the Bagless Day held on 3rd May 2025 was a glowing testament to this vision. It was a vibrant morning filled with engaging, hands-on activities that encouraged creativity, collaboration and critical thinking across all streams.From remedial classes to robotics, every initiative echoed Loyola’s commitment to holistic development. Standard XI students were immersed in a variety of club activities: the Tarumitra Club explored Tera Scope Sustainable Solutions in AV2  while the Entrepreneurship Club took part in an insightful Debate and PPT session in St. Joseph’s Hall. The top floor of the Knowledge Centre bustled with energy as budding artists expressed themselves in Art & Craft sessions while the Maths Club challenged minds with the Ramanujan Quiz on the second floor.In the Activity Room 1, the Robotics session drew keen learners and NCC classes, beginning at 7:00 am, added a strong note of discipline and leadership training. Meanwhile, Standard IX students ventured out for industrial visits to Utkal Auto, RSB, Bebco, Lemon Tree, Uditvaani and a local ice cream factory—an exciting exposure to real-world operations and career possibilities.The highlight of the day was a transformative acting workshop conducted by Bollywood actor Neeraj Kabi at the Centre of Excellence. Known for his roles in Ship of Theseus, Paatal Lok, Sacred Games and Hichki, Mr. Kabi captivated students with his wisdom and humility. He emphasized that acting begins with silence, patience and instinct and he moved the audience with stories of how theatre gave hope to 115 underprivileged children. As a self-taught artist, he urged Loyola students to value hard work, integrity and perseverance over the lure of fame.The session was not just about acting—it was about life, passion and purpose. A special note of appreciation goes to our dedicated teachers whose behind-the-scenes efforts made this Bagless Day a resounding success.
