This year, Loyola School, Jamshedpur, celebrated Children's Day with melas organised on the 14th of November for the Junior Section and on the 15th of November for the Senior Section students. The Loyola Grounds went abuzz with excitement on both days and was transformed into a vibrant carnival, filled with laughter, music and joy, as children and parents alike immersed themselves in a day of fun and frolic.
The melas were started with a heartfelt prayer led by Rector, Fr Michael T Raj. The management paid tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Principal, Fr Vinod Fernandes, inspired the young minds with words of motivation.
The students had a blast exploring the numerous games and activities on offer, with lucky students winning exciting hampers to take home. The aroma of delicious food wafted through the air, tempting taste buds and satisfying hungry bellies. As the music played on, the school management and teachers and parents joined in the fun, dancing the day away with the children.
The melas were a resounding success, bringing out the child in everyone. Both children and parents raved about the impeccable organization and smooth execution of the event. Kudos to the two dynamic Vice Principals, Ms Vineeta F Ekka (Junior Section) and Ms Jayanti Sheshadri (Senior Section) for leading Team Loyola, in creating memories that will be cherished forever!
