As a countdown to mark India’s 80^th Independence Day, Class 8 E presented a skit “Voices from Heaven: Swarg se Samvaad” in the morning assembly. The skit presented an imaginative and thought-provoking encounter in heaven where the great leaders of India’s freedom struggle look at the present-day India. Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Sarojini Naidu, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Vijayalakshmi Pandit are excited to see the nation they sacrificed everything for.

They rejoice at India’s progress—its technological advancements, scientific achievements, educational opportunities, thriving industries and young citizens dreaming of a better future.

The leaders question whether the freedom they fought for has been truly understood. Through a series of emotional exchanges, they remind modern Indians that independence is not merely freedom from foreign rule, but also freedom from injustice, discrimination, hatred and ignorance. The gift of freedom has been bequeathed to the present generation after a lot of sacrifices and struggle. It is a treasure to be cherished.

The skit concluded with a powerful message: “The India we dreamt of is in your hands. Protect it, improve it and make it worthy of our sacrifices.”

The Loyola Banner flies High

The Nobel Knights Club organized a quiz on the life of Saint Ignatius on July 30th to commemorate the Feast of Saint Ignatius of Loyola.

The third place was won by Melvin Edward Muthu, Satyartha Chaudhary, and Ryan Gracious Banerjee.

The second place was taken by Prajeet Patel, Yash Jain, and Anshi Beck.

And the first place was secured by Team Sanjana Hembrom, Riddhi Siddhi Mahato, and Austin Lakra.

In Physics Brainiacs, a model-making event, Ayman Hassan, Arshpreet Kaur, and Kashmeera Kumari secured the third prize.

In Chem Amritam, Sweety Chandra, Yankita Barik, S. Hamshika, and Aditya Utkarsh won the second prize.

In Integration Bee, a mathematics quiz, Kanishk Bharat, Satyarth Choudhary, and Atulya Anand bagged the first prize.

In Cipher X Quantum, Prajas Dinda and Aditya secured the third prize.

In Renaissance Revelry, the team comprising Pragya Roy, Shivaansh Chachra, Rajvi Vasani, Manya Sinha, Akshat Jawanpuria, Sanvi Manjunath, Huzaifah Ahmed, and Yashica Agarwal bagged the first prize, impressing the judges with their exemplary acting skills and stage presence.

In the event Cosmic Bazaar, an entrepreneurial venture challenge, the team comprising Raj Krishna and Anand Kumar secured the second runners up position.

In the event Mystic Mindscape, a quiz on astronomy and mythology, the team comprising Shreyash Raj and Vaibhav Victor bagged the second runners up position.

In Astra Senate, the Model United Nations event, Daksh Jain, represented his assigned country Pakistan, and was awarded Best Delegate, emerging as the winner of the event.

Leozera 2026 - the inter-school fest by Rajendra Vidyalaya

In the editing event, 16 Frames, the team comprising Saikat Biswas and Arush Tiwari bagged the second runners up position.

In the general quiz, Cognitare, the team comprising Shreyash Raj and Yash Jain secured the runners up position.

Virtus Maximus was a mentally and physically challenging event. Aryaman Singh secured the runners up position.

CD Singh Memorial Essay Writing: In the Senior Category of the Hindi Essay, Sakshi Kumari secured the second position.

In the Senior Category of the English Essay, Mariyah Khalid bagged the first prize.

In the Junior Category of the English Essay, Prajeet D Patel secured the first position.

 In the Mathematics event Ultimate Tesseract Showdown, the team comprising Shambhavee Jayaswaal, Prachi Sinha, Vedang Vatsal and Hari Shenoy bagged the first prize.

In the dance event Choreomania, the team comprising Rossita Verma, Dhruv Kumar, Md Sharikuddin, Riddhima, Drishti Thacker, Pragya Roy, Aadarsh Mishra, SLV Jayashree, Sneha and Shanvi Nikitanjai secured the first position.

In the event Youth Parliament, the team comprising Anurag Arbind and Sanjeet Singh Bajaj were declared the winners. Sanjeet was also awarded as the Best Speaker.

In the Chemistry event Elemental Eloquence, the team comprising Mani Tak, Anjani Tak, Garv Tekriwal and Aditya Kumar bagged the first prize.

 In the event Kreiger, an e-sports football battle, Pranav Yelisetty secured the first position.

In Leozera’s flagship business event BASH, Daksh Jain, stood first. Loyola School was declared the overall champion of Leozera 2026.
