St. Xavier's Sahibganj hosted the prestigious 70th Inter-Jesuit Competition on 29th and 30th August, thus bringing together student delegates from 10 Jesuit schools across Jharkhand to compete in Elocution, Extempore, Debate and Creative Writing.
Centering on the theme, "Empathy and not Sympathy is needed to foster global peace and harmony in the world", the event challenged participants to reflect deeply on human connections, driving insightful arguments and creative expressions throughout every stage.
In Creative Writing, Loyola School secured the 2nd position overall in both the Junior and Senior categories, the participants being Yatharth Verma (Class 10) and Mani Tak (Class 12) respectively. Loyola's Debate team claimed the 2nd position overall, supported by strong individual achievements - Anmol Singh and Daksh Jain, both students of class 12.
Beyond trophies and recognition, the event provided an extraordinary platform that honed the creative talents, public speaking confidence and strengthening camaraderie among the participating Jesuit institutions.
