?Loyola School Bistupur celebrated the richness of Indian literature and international fellowship during a special school assembly organized by the students of Class 7C on September 15, in observance of Hindi Diwas.
?The morning opened with vibrant student presentations honoring some of Hindi literature’s iconic figures: Munshi Premchand, Mahadevi Verma, Maithili Sharan Gupt, Subhadra Kumari Chauhan, and Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’. Through expressive poetry recitations, dramatic monologues, and insightful biographical sketches, the students brought the enduring legacy of these literary legends to life for the audience.
Expanding the morning's horizons, Mrs. Satnam Kapula addressed the assembly to introduce the Rotary Club’s Cultural Exchange Programme. Highlighted for its role in nurturing cross-cultural understanding and global perspectives among youth, the initiative will welcome exchange student Bernardo Carniero from Brazil to the Loyola family for the upcoming academic session.
?Concluding the event, Principal Fr. Vinod Fernandes S.J. encouraged the student body to take pride in their linguistic heritage. He emphasized that honoring one's native language serves as a foundation for broader cultural appreciation and global citizenship.
?The assembly stood as a meaningful reflection of Loyola’s commitment to grounding students in local heritage while preparing them for an interconnected world.
